This family house is has been a repeat client for Croft Architects, spanning over 30 years. Malvern is a testament to ‘masterplanning’ short, medium and long term design solutions to suit the client’s requirements.

The house (constructed in 1918) when purchased by the client was an elevated Queenslander in a relatively original condition. The house has subsequently been built in underneath, modified internally and reconfigured the block to suit the Family’s needs.

Most recently, the upper level of the house is undergoing a reconfiguration and refresh. New bathroom facilities catering the ageing occupants and a material palette refresh using porcelain tilesand timber. Additional timber windows have also been added for daylighting and ventilation purposes.
